David Spark is a veteran tech journalist, industry analyst, and founder of the custom publishing firm Spark Media Solutions, which gives voice to companies by helping them build their media network. For 15 years Spark has written, produced, and appeared in more than 30 media outlets including eWEEK, PC World, Wired News, PC Computing, Smart Computing, and TechTV.
Intermixed with journalism and production, Spark worked in advertising and corporate entertainment as a new media director and marketing creative. He launched Publicis Dialog’s custom publishing and new media divisions, and hosted and produced two podcast series for Sprint.
In addition, Spark squandered more than a dozen years working as a stand up comedian and comedy writer for Second City comedy troupe in Chicago.
